Construction in the building life cycle prohibits social interaction. My team designed the proposed structures to activate the community around the dead space. A sustainable city begins at the construction site. Construction and repair of a building is necessary to continue its use.

People visit broad range of places temporarily these days, and the impression of the construction sites should be improved. We suggest a steel unit frame system that varies according to the site’s purpose. The frame unit will be a piece of furniture, stairs, a slab, or a window.

PROPOSAL

A city begins at the construction site.
Construction and repair of the building are necessary for occupants. For this, however, there are construction sites of dead space people will have to endure.

COMPARISON

Mechanical fixation of the joints supports and resists against the movement of each frame in the X, Y, and Z directions.
